SHOES!
My little girl LOVES clothes and shoes. I am not really sure how to emphasize the LOVES part enough so maybe the best way is to give you an example. On her birthday, she gets just as excited over clothes and shoes as she does toys. Every month when her Wittlebee (explanation to come later) box comes, she does a little happy dance and tears into it. Yesterday, she disappeared from my mama radar for a few minutes and was totally quiet. Still a little leery from my days of having Wild Man Noah as a toddler, I went into a mini state of, "Oh crap. What mess is she making?" When I went into her room, what did I find? Miss P sitting in her floor arranging her shoes into pairs by color and style. When I asked her what she was doing, she looked at me in one of those looks that clearly implies she thinks I'm stupid and says, "Mama. I'm playing shoes." Well DUH. Doesn't every kid sit in their room organizing and building shapes out of their shoe collection? Silly me. How could I not recognize a road made of shoes for her cars to drive on? LOL. (And yes, this is just part of her shoes collection. She doesn't only wear Crocs and flip flops. Don't judge...the girl loves shoes!)
Hi-Yah!!!
My little Noah got his orange belt in karate this week. He was super excited and I was pretty proud of him. As an added bonus for doing so well, he also got a new patch to be sewn to his uniform for his excellent self defense skills. The biggest draw back? He now thinks that he is able to actually defend himself against anyone that comes at him. Sorry son...you're no Chuck Norris just yet. LOL. I'm glad that he's finally found something that gets him off of his rump and keeps him active. I have to admit that I sort of love hearing the big "hi-yah" noise come from him every time he kicks or strikes. It never ceases to make me chuckle a bit. (Even if it partially kills the souls of his dad, grandpa, and uncles...my boy isn't a jock. Sorry guys. Maybe Peyton will be our little athelete. Ha.) Please note that his little sidekick had to sport his "old" yellow belt and be a "neen-ja girl."

Welcome!
Hi! I thought I'd finally join the rest of the world and start a blog of my own. Surely if everyone else can be entertaining enough to read I can too, right? LOL.
